History of Polyurethane Materials

In the United States in 1947, DuPont and Monsanto company established the TDI test workshop, in the Good Year Aircraft company and Lockheed Aircraft company began to produce rigid polyurethane foam

      1951 made of oil modified polyurethane coating, after the successful study of two-component catalytic curing polyurethane coating and single-component moisture curing coating.

      In 1958, Schollenberger of Goodyear Tire & Rubber reported the Thermoplastic Polyurethane Elastomer (TPU) and achieved industrialization in 1960.
